What started as a fun day for the Jacobi family quickly turned into a nightmare. Their vibrant two-year-old son, Luca, spiked a sudden fever of 104, followed by a terrifying seizure. A frantic 911 call led them to Hoag Hospital, where doctors discovered the devastating truth—Luca has leukemia.
Luca was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, an aggressive form of blood cancer. Though treatable, the journey ahead is overwhelming. He faces two to three years of grueling treatments while his parents, Jason and Melissa, balance his care, support his big brother Jaxon, and their third newborn.
